CO-FAB is a four-day experiential workshop that provides an opportunity for those with limb differences to collaborate with designers, engineers, and change-makers with the goal of turning their ideas into prosthetics for members of the limb-different community. Recipients partner with college students from various disciplines, such as industrial design, engineering, and occupational therapy, as well as industry professionals, to create life-changing prosthetics.
During the workshop, we also tap into the expertise of members of the Central Ohio creative community and various industry professionals to volunteer and mentor our project groups. From ideation and collaboration to fabrication and presentation, CO-FAB is designed to provide workshop recipients with a prosthesis that empowers them to embrace their future.
Applications for limb-different recipients & design, engineering, and occupational therapy students, as well mentors are open until May 3rd at 11:59 pm. For more details, click here to review important dates for this year’s workshop
